What is the ERMC?

The Eastern Region of the Missionary Church (ERMC) is comprised of churches ranging from new church plants to historic churches, and from inner city contexts to rural towns. This entity exists to facilitate the health, growth, and multiplication of leaders and churches across the eastern United States.

Our Global Reach

The Missionary Church, of which the ERMC is a part, is committed to church planting and world missions, consisting of two million people in more than 20,000 churches in more than 100 countries, and 500 churches in the United States.

Staff and Leadership

REGIONAL DIRECTOR

TULIO ABEL AND ADRIANA DE SOUZA – Pastor Tulio serves as Regional Director. He pastors Emanuel Church in Newark NJ (a church with a Portuguese service and a Spanish service) and is one of the mayor’s clergy liaisons.

ASSISTANT REGIONAL DIRECTOR

DREW TOUCHER – Pastor Drew serves alongside our regional director as Assistant Regional Director. He pastors Fleetwood Bible Church in Fleetwood, PA and delights in serving the community through High school sports and other community related activities.

REGIONAL ADMINISTRATOR/TREASURER

MARCOS CRESPO SR. served as Regional Treasurer for 8 years, and coordinates our regional conference and various administrative projects. Marcos and Rubi currently serve at Fleetwood Bible Church as Executive pastor and currently serves in the Pastoral Leadership Institute.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

ROSA REYES SANTIAGO serves as Administrative Assistant to our Eastern Regional Director, Jeff Getz and is also the liaison for the Credentialing Process for Pastors assisting Director of Credentialing, Ron Eade. She has experience working as Treasurer in her local church in Bristol PA for over 15 years. She leads the Education and Children’s Ministry, and has been teaching several courses in the Pastoral Leadership Institute (PLI) in Allentown, PA.

REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF CREDENTIALING

RON EADE – Ron recently retired as senior pastor at Church of Genesis in New Castle PA, and has served the region as Director of Credentialing for more than 10 years. Ron oversees the minister’s license process and ordination. Ron will assist you and your church through the joining process as found on the "Join Here" link below.

REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF CARE & COMMUNITY

EDWIN AND CARMEN COLÓN – As our Regional Pastor, Edwin provides care to our pastors and serves on the Executive Board. For thirty years Edwin and Carmen have pastored Iglesia Primera Corintios 13, one of the Region’s most multiplying churches. Edwin has started several pastoral training institutes in PA and in Dominican Republic, with over 100 graduates.

REGIONAL PASTOR TO WOMEN OF MINISTRY

MAXIMA DE ABREU– Maxima joins us in this role to support Women in Ministry. She also serves on our Regional Oversight Council (ROC), is the Director of the Theological Bible Institute (Dominican Republic), led the Missioner Women Ministry in her local church with her husband Samuel Abreu, and pastored at Las Colinas in Dominican Republic, planted Lluvias de Gracia in Philadelphia and has taught in the Christian Education Ministry in the DR. If you are a Woman of Ministry (female pastors and pastors’ wives) and have a prayer need or want to confidentially share your burdens, please contact our office at 215-584-7987 or send a message and Rosa Reyes will share Maxima’s contact info with you.

NEXT GEN MINISTRIES

MARCOS CRESPO JR. - Marcos & Maryelba Crespo are currently serving as our Regional Next Gen Leaders. Marcos is also the Next Gen pastor at Fleetwood Bible Church, while Mary serves as Nursery Director. Both are have made it their mission to help disciple the Next Generation of believers as well as train mentors and leaders in the local church.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

JEFF WELDON -Jeff Weldon currently serves as the Next Gen Pastor at Belonging Community Church in Urbana, MD, alongside his wife, Pastor Brooke. Jeff holds a Master of Arts in Children’s & Family Ministries from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN and has 18 years of ministry experience. Jeff & Brooke Palmer have 5 kids and a passion for their community, including kids!

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

HEIDI FOREMAN serves as Director of Communications for the ERMC. Heidi specializes in design and digital communications and has experience in website management. She is currently building a team of "Regional Relyarers" to assist in highlighting the work of God and His people throughout our region. Join the team!
